Regarding the scholarship.

We're currently full and don't have any available. I know we can take Jayden's but when are we able to? July 31st? Would Trendon be able to sign anything prior to that time? I know he can commit verbally, but I mean paperwork wise.

I was all for Trendon Watford ... but he should have committed when we had a spot. Guess he wanted to see about LSU ... OK. They're headed for ... a probation and a new coach. But there's Bama and Indiana ... so you're still good. BYE !!

Scholarships run July 1 to June 30. Trendon can sign financial aid papers any time. But financial aid is not like an NLI. You can walk away any time, so it's the same as a verbal commit until he actually enrolls. But he can do that June 3.

Yes, signing period for NLI ended Wednesday. He can sign financial aid papers any time. And yes, without an NLI, he can still enroll anywhere.

Financial aid is like a verbal commit until you actually show up. But that's what happens when these recruits wait this long to sign.

Draft boards dont keep players from staying in if teams are giving him good info.

I get that but you stated you think he stays in the draft. We have no idea what feedback he is getting from teams so the best we can go off of is draft boards. If Tucker is not on any then it is highly unlikely anybody would jump and take him in the first round when they could almost definitely grab him in the 2nd or as an unsigned free agent. Being the most likely scenario I cannot see that as more attractive than playing one more year on a highly talented team and possibly playing himself into a much better draft position next year.

Maybe time to start thinking this class is done.

It has been stated that he would be willing to stay for a 2-way contract. I am sure his "camp" is being told that teams are interested.

Yep

Honestly I cant see anyway no team would sign a 6'5" ripped up wing who can shoot and jump out of the gym to a two way contract. Each team has two of these to offer to undrafted guys.
